Books and More is about art and joy of independent books. From picture books to novels, we will cover the art of book making and the thrill of finding and sharing new works of literature.

Many great books are printed each year but never end up on the shelves at popular books stores. There are many great authors, poets, artists, photographers and others who would rejoice at the opportunity to publish their works and make them publicly available. We cover the topics necessary to make publishing your own works possible. We will also share new books and hidden treasures of the independent book world with you.

This blog will cover publishing techniques for all types of books. We will also highlight and review new works as we add them to our new bookstore.

Direct Access Books is a bookstore for self-published and independent books. You can reach our bookstore here: Direct Access Books. We provide an opportunity for less-well-known works to reach a greater audience. We are an operating arm of Limited Edition Publishers, a short-run publisher and specialist in coffee-table books for professionals.

The owners, Tom and Andy, bring a career's worth of knowledge and expertise in the areas of printing, publishing, and marketing. Tom and I will share our experiences, our skills and our interests. We hope to help you find, or even create, those hidden treasures found amongst the independent books of the world.
